HE DIED

Do God needs good men and women more than what they are needed at this blue planet? I do not know the answer. But one thing that I know is that more than a month has passed since the day he left never to come back.
People said he has left for the heavenly abode but I seldom believe them. How can a man who suffered all his life go to heaven? For him their was no heaven; either in life or after wards.
But there was something great in that man. He lived life courageously. Even his family and his friends believed in his courage. But he did regret any thing; but neither his disease nor his sins, but something else. And he never revealed it to any body.
As for sins I believe he had none. Or he might have enough if people believe that god punishes the sinner in their life.
When his head went bald or his long beard or moustaches vanished, he joked, "Call a barber so that he can shave my head and beard." He said this despite the fact that in their religion hairs were a sacred thing and those who cut were outcasts.
But even then he was unhappy inside. He was going to leave his wife and two children behind. Children, whom taught how to laugh at themselves and at others.
As for his parents, they were also courageous like him. His father who lost his leg in an accident, with his determination had made his family prosperous to the extent that people envied him. But that prosperity was now a far of thing. Times had changed and he was a mere spectator now. And he was watching his son dying slowly. Dying as the sand escapes from hand.
